How long have you been in the beauty industry?

8 years! 

What made you want to become an esthetician?

I’ve always had a passion for skincare.

Why did you decide to start your own business?

I decided to start my own business due to the lack of trust at had from my old job.

What has been the biggest challenge you’ve faced while running your own business? 

Setting myself apart in a saturated marketplace.

What is your favorite service to perform and why? 

Brazilians are my favorite service to perform. I love that a stranger can trust me and feel comfortable in the most vulnerable position. I do my best to foster a very safe and comfortable environment for my clients. The cherry on top is that after the Brazilian then we can become besties. What’s better than that?!

What is one business tool that you can't live without?

Selling retail products. Product sales are a very important part of business revenue.

How and when did you discover Bushbalm Skincare?

I discovered Bushbalm through social media back in 2021. I believe I saw it was from another account and have been with them since then.

I enjoy how much they care about skin concerns at a budget-friendly cost.

What is one word of advice you would give to new estheticians entering the field right now?

Stay consistent and be patient. Rome wasn't built in a day.
