Meet Christina Greiter
Meet Christina! Christina is a Licensed Esthetician and business owner located in Hamilton, Ontario. She’s been in the beauty industry for 14 years, and has a ton of experience working in various salon/spa settings throughout her career. Her studio, Ritual, specializes in speed waxing, lash and brow tinting, and luxury facials that will leave you feeling so confident and refreshed.

How long have you been in the beauty industry?
14 years!
What made you want to become an esthetician?
I've always been passionate about the beauty industry and love being part of a fast-paced and social environment.
Why did you decide to start your own business?
I have always dreamt of having a studio space of my own. Working in the industry for so long has allowed me to build and retain strong personal and professional relationships with my clients. Along with working in various salon/spa settings, I also developed a strong home business on the side. I knew I was at a point where I had enough loyal clients and took the leap, moving into a space where the opportunity for growth was greater.
What has been the biggest challenge you’ve faced while running your own business? How do you cope?
I opened Ritual in February 2020, one month later, COVID closed us down. The following year or so was a huge challenge in itself full of uncertainties and unknowns. I took this time to work on my business differently by creating an online store, revamping my website, being more present on social media, and maintaining a presence online with my community and clientele.
What's your favorite service to perform and why?
Brazilians and skincare treatments. We want our clients to feel confident and comfortable in and outside of the treatment room with personalized efficient services.
What is one business tool that you can't live without?
Online booking system
How and when did you discover Bushbalm Skincare? Why did you decide to carry us?
I discovered Bushbalm while looking for Canadian retailers to carry in my studio. Originally saw Bushbalm on Dragons Den and loved the story and how it was founded. The bonus is that Bushbalm uses natural ingredients that actually work!

What advice would you give to new estheticians entering the field right now?
Be passionate about what you do and learn and gain as much experience as possible along the way!
