How long have you been in the beauty industry?

Over 10 years!

What made you want to become an esthetician?

The honest answer is to help people with their skin concerns.

Why did you decide to start your own business?

I decided to start my own business because I became obsessed with waxing and vajacials. I noticed there weren’t many estheticians in my area offering them and I wanted to become THE wax and vajacial expert!

What is your favorite service to perform and why? 

My favorite service to perform is a Brazilian wax because I love helping people through this experience whether it’s a new client or returning. Getting a Brazilian wax is intimate and can be a little awkward but I try my best to make everyone feel comfortable and amazing.

What is one business tool that you can't live without?

One business tool I can’t live without is social media! I enjoy creating content and sharing my work.

How and when did you discover Bushbalm Skincare?

I discovered Bushbalm a couple years back on social media and decided to bring them into my waxing studio hoping to help clients with their skin concerns for their intimate areas. I had worked with other brands before, but Bushbalm always stood out to my clients and myself!

What is the most popular Bushbalm product at your location?

The most popular products we offer are the Piña Colada scrub and oil. Clients enjoy the scent and the benefits which are brightening and hyperpigmentation.

What do you enjoy most about the Bushbalm Wholesale community?

I enjoy that we all believe in the products and the power of home care in between waxing appointments.

What is one word of advice you would give to new estheticians entering the field right now?

The advice I would give new estheticians is to not be afraid of incorporating retail into your business. It’s an investment for your clients so you can build trust with them and their skin.
